TIP I have found the best way to store your sealed containers of Powertex is upside down so that when you go to use it, it will be easier to stir. Powertex will have settled in shipping and storage.  Before using you must make sure that it is stirred well and that all the thick hardeners are stirred back into the mix from the bottom of the container.   I have found that simply shaking the bottle is not enough. Open the bottle take a long piece of doweling and stir all the thick content from the bottom, this will take a few minutes once you are satisfied that the thick mass is incorporated back into the mix, seal the bottle again carefully and shake well. Don't forget to shake the bottle periodically while working on your project.

Welcome
Today is the first day of my blog, well I guess I had better come up with something intelligent to say...ok well maybe :0)
Seriously my intentions for this blog is to have fun with it and a place for  those that have taken

workshops with me and anyone that is passionate about Powertex.
Here you will find little tips and info about upcoming events, a place for
people to come and ask me questions and share their experiences and ideas. I
love working with found items and creating new from old. Have you found
something that worked in your art work that you would like to share? How you
found something that has you jazzed about creating art?
 Love it- Love it all!

I love coaching others to become their creative self. It is so exciting to watch eyes light up when they make something in one of my classes. It takes courage to leave your comfort zone, I know, I do it everyday. So come on out on that limb with me, trust me the view is grand...

Life is pretty simple: You do some stuff. Most fails. Some works. You do more of what works. If it works big, others quickly copy it. Then you do something else. The trick is the doing something else.
